Calls Regarding “sheriff’s calendar” Are Legitimate

   Business owners who may have received calls regarding the purchase of an advertisement in a calendar sponsored by Lawrence County Sheriff Kenny Taylor may rest assured that the calls are, in fact, legitimate.

   Representatives of Law Enforcement Publications are in the Lawrenceburg area to assist in putting together the fundraising project.

   In a letter Taylor pointed out, “We hope this calendar serves as a reminder to you of the dedicated deputies and staff of the sheriff’s office that serve your community on a twenty-four hour daily basis.”

   Proceeds from the calendar project will be earmarked for the Lawrence County Drug Awareness and Crime Prevention Programs.
